This is such a great clip. I think it was so WRONG that a 'movie star' was given the role in the filmed version of "Doubt." It is going to be on PPV soon, can't decide whether or not to watch it....it seems almost disloyal to do so.

However... I read the text so skipping the movie is probably best.....yet I never got to see it on B'way...what to do?

2) Someone must have videotaped a copy of CJ's performance in Doubt. Where can you get that?

3 )CJ won a US National debate trophy in 1974 for an original oration, "Traditional Tommyrot." What was that all about and how can I get a copy of the text?

I don't know Cherry Jones personally and I don't know where to get any of her previous work online. Trust me I've looked for anything from her stage run in "Doubt" but cannot.

then you should try harder. you must live in NYC (and I do not). So you should go meet Cherry Jones and adv her it is imperative that you obtain this info.

I did not get to see 'Doubt' on PPV yet but I will either tonight or at the earliest opportunity. Everyone says that Cherry Jones' portrayal of Sister Aloysius is th definitive interpretation of the role and that her theater wrk is described as 'brilliant' and 'incomparable.'

I like this clip because Cherry gets to talk about how thrilling it was to bring the role of Sister Aloysius 'into being.'

The 2009 Emmy interviews are great, but here she gets to be more open and expressive. Also her dress for the Tonys has a more plunging neckline.
