Lovebird & Parakeet Friends

Pepper the parakeet & miss Siouxsie the lovebird adore each other. my floor isn't usually that messy but they have been very rambunctious little hams lately.

My parakeet looks just like that. She lives with my lovebird & he is a male...i wish they could have chicks, but i am pretty suure that they can't because they are diffrent species of birds?
