  • I noticed you have a MRC Prodigy Wireless, what made you decide on using the MRC? Also the circuit breakers are they a must for DCC?

  • MRC = Simple to use and expandable

Circuit breakers = not a must (but beneficial)

  • What track and turnouts are you using

  • Atlas code 83 with atlas #6 and 8 turnouts

  • hello, why you have two black boxes to the wireless control?. is it a prodigy express?

  • 1 command station 1 power booster

  • You have very good benchwork and the wiring of the layout is good. My wiring has gotten so much better with experience but when I fist began my layout I was not concerned with color coding and much else. Now my underneath layout in the west end of the layout is nice but the east end is a bit rough. I have redone a lot of it but not all of it.

  • OK, now you are making me want to tear mine down and start over!! I need to learn a LOT more about DCC...

  • What kind of switch machine are you using at around minute 1:43 in the video? There are 4 knobs in a green facia that look like they are connected to some sort of manual/pneumatic switch machine. What are they and where did you get them? I am looking for an undertrack manual switch for areas close to my edges.

    Thanks

  • oh good If you could use speaker wire your lucky since its easy to wire. I first used speaker wire until I relised that its cuting back the power flow.

  • Speaker wire only for the Tortoise switch machines. My DCC Bus is 14ga with 18ga feeders.

  • Your lucky you get to use speakerwire my dcc put so much power to the track I have to use thicker wire
