Leslie survives the fall from the rope; she doesn't die, but instead falls into a deep coma. Five years later, Jess receives a call from her parents with the news he was beginning to think he would never hear - Leslie is awake. Thrilled, he quickly drives to the hospital, only to find that his best friend can no longer remember him or the hideaway she was trying to escape to the day of the accident. After she is discharged from the hospital, her memories begin to return in scattered fragments, but never completely. Overwhelmed with grief and frustration, she turns to the boy she hardly knows and asks him to take her to Terabithia. And slowly, the magic begins to remind her of the incredible friendship they shared.

This was originally meant to be done around the holidays so I could gift it to terabithianmileyfan, but alas.... It never got uploaded. It's so silly because it's really been done for ages, I've just been holding onto it so I could add more voiceovers and text (neither of which I did). It's also kind of silly to dedicate it to her, as she's seen every step I've taken to make this video and therefore probably already knows it as well as me... IN FACT! She knows it so well, she's actually the one who wrote the lovely summary. THANK YOU FOR HOLDING MY HAND THROUGH THIS ENTIRE VIDEO!

Oh, also, I had to replace her Terabithia parents. That made me sad because I really like her Terabithia parents, they were just too hard to manip into the hospital coloring-wise.
