  • wow your apartment must be beautiful! for some reason i love the sound of the sirens in france

  • Thanks! The apartment was great, but we're back in Canada now -- I really miss it sometimes.

  • Thanks for providing the details! We heard this sound from our apartment quite often. I wanted to capture it for our friends in Canada since it's so different from our sirens.

  • @CDPDPatrolUnit You cant really say if a siren in germany is from a FD, Ambulance or PD-department. There is no thing like a rule for it.

  • @BobertTheTurtle the german sirens are the same

  • Exactly. Most of Protection Civile vehicles have used german sirens : they are cheaper, more powerful than french ones and got a public address. Yves

  • But it sounds like a German police car. Because of its siren tones and its speed. I know French police cars sounds faster than that.

  • This is a véhicle of the volunteer Protection Civile on a EMS emergency run (in France SAMU). Yves
