Guitar Hero Smash Hits - Janes Addiction - Stop - Expert Guitar 100% FC

This song to me epitomizes everything that i DON'T like about the Guitar Hero engine.

There is nothing fundamentally difficult in this song - HOWEVER, the verse is an absolute pigwhore, because of the engine. They've got all these random hammer ons in the verse riff, meaning that, if you try and just strum it straight up, it's plink plink overstrum city. So you have to basically memorize the unnatural start stop way of not playing the hammerons, which just really annoys me.

Anyhow - because of that, (and the bit before the solo with all the held notes which are also lol-annoying) this song took way longer to FC than it should have, but I got it eventually.

Umm the creators of Guitar Hero 1 and 2, who started it ALL were Harmonix, they then went on to make Rockband, so really they didnt take any idea, since it was their own in the first place.

Of course there are hammer-ons and pull-offs. I never said any different, you should´ve read my first comment as well...I just said, that in World Tour you have to hit the hammer-ons and pull-offs more accurate than in Guitar Hero 2 and 3 (in my opinion.)

I hate the RockBand/WorldTour-Style of Hammer-On and Pull-Off. I "learned" Guitar Hero playing at GH3 and I do not have to hit the Hammer-Ons and Pull-Offs right when they meet the bar. So it´s FAR easier to do that, than having to do it so accurate.

That shit started with RockBand and Aerosmith I think!

not really, 1 and 2 were all covers except for a few bonus songs on 2, and that's my point, the gh3 hammer ons are unrealistic cuz ur not gonna hit a note by holding the button down and it instantly hitting, and 1, 2, and rbs are unreaistic b/c you don't have to be that precise on a real guitar (I would know cuz I play) and yes World Tour was a copy, but it was still a good game,and Aerosmith and Metallica are more for fans than gamers just like RB: Beatles (which i look forward to)

im being a dick? get your facts straight. the Rock Band hammer ons were not terrilbe, they were the exact same as the ones from Guitar Hero 1 and 2. just like Rock Band 2's hammer ons are like Guitar Hero 1 and 2. I own all the games we have been talking about except for lame Aerosmith. Guitar Hero 3 had a few better songs but the gameplay was horribly messed up. Guitar Hero 1 and 2 were the best Guitar Hero's made, World Tour is a pathetic attempt to copy Rock Band. Case and point.
