I was born & raised for the first 18 years of my life in west virginia & now I'm going to business school in new york city. I plan to return to WV!!!
i've been to 40 states, 27 countries, and i've lived on 4 continents. west virginia is UNDOUBTEDLY the best place on the planet.
yes, we still call northerners "yankees". you should be thanking us for fighting in the union, not criticizing our intelligence.

There are some larger cities in WV, and the small towns are full of history, something lacking in many parts of other states....I love Tennessee too...It is not, however, any different than West V. except there are more beautiful areas in West V. that Tennessee lacks!
