new and pioneering is one thing but why did they stop going to the moon? That's the question that should be asked. What killed that program? Why did they suddenly change their minds and say oh we should spend more money and time to build a space station and not go back to the moon? Wasn't the point of going to the moon to use IT as a base of operations to expand their research into outer space?

You're obviously a kook, most of those people weren't even alive when we landed on the moon. None of them were rocket engineers, space scientists, or test pilots. And still none were stupid enough to say the moon landings were a hoax (the ones that were alive then, anyway).
Sorry you don't think my graduate school engineering textbooks are good enough. But they keep me firmly planted in the real world. I'd invite you over but I doubt you'd like it.

How can you not believe it? I'm not trying to be insulting - but seriously curious how you can believe the US, Russia, EU, Japan, China and India (off the top of my head) worked *together* since the 60s to arrange such a massive program of lies and deceptions? I find it much easier to believe they made it to the moon then such a conspiracy could even be done.
