I got the same exact guitar and I LOVE it!
I had to change the stock pickups though, they totally SUCKED!
This baby now sports 2 Fender Vintage Noiseless and a Gibson 57 Classic Plus.
The amount of ass this thing kicks now is ILLEGAL!

Hi , is just through a hot rod deluxe with the screamer ? i have the bb pre amp , the zen , and a bunch of others etc and i cant get the hot rod sounding like that ? if thats guitar to pedal to hotrod i am selling all my pedals and buying one of them definately. Can you remember the settings on the hot rod ? cheers

@stangebrew1 Hi, Yeah this is a Cusack Screamer through a Hot Rod Deluxe. Guitar, pedal amp...the amp was set in the middle all the way across, except the volume which was lower, say 3. The Hot Rod was a limited edition sunburst finish amp (yup) just like the 3 tone sunburst tobacco guitars...

Hi - I know this video has been up a while. Did you have to change anything on the bridge of the HWY1 Strat? I have one - looooove it - but I break high E's now and again (never broken strings in my life.) Just wondering if the saddles need swapping. I have DiMarzio Virtual Vintage in mine. The nitro finish makes such a difference in the sound...

@intrsoul Hey, Oz Noy told me he uses the virtual vintage pickups..Area 51 and 62..he gets an amazing tone out of them I would like to try a set myself..but the Alnico pickups sound fine to me..I had to change the saddles..I used to change them to the stock Fender replacement saddles, but recently got turned on the Raw Vintage Saddles which are pretty cool, so I have those on one of my strats. I use 11's and have yet to break a string.
