I'm taking a hiatus from filming. I feel it has been getting in the way of my training and enjoying it. This problem isn't the same as my problems with the 3 year video, its just a hassle to lug my equipment around, figure out runs and then record them. This idea had been floating around for a bit but when my batteries unexpectedly died while training, I felt free. I no longer had to worry about getting no footage because I shot the same movement 15 times or having sloppy runs or anything. I could move how I pleased and I hadn't realized that filming had been frustrating me till then. I also want to change my training a bit, focus more on my weaknesses. I don't feel as prepared as I could be for a situation in which I'd need to use Parkour. I'm not comfortable enough with my non-dominant side for wall runs, tic tacs and running jumps. The list goes on but I won't bore you all. Hopefully, my next video will show the progress I've made for these things. Till then!

David

  • I shall "like" this video.

  • Fucking love this video :)

  • @RANDOMDUDENo1 Yeah, gliding shots are delicious. The only problem is I'd have to do most of them in post-production because I don't usually have a skilled camera person filming me :< I will work on it for my own camera work, thanks for the suggestion!

  • @AfroPK That's what i'm saying! :) Uhmm i like gliding shots, but they're difficult to get right! Making a good film is harder than people think.. Especially the line between tacky and brilliance! But just play around with it, have fun! Experiment! Good luck!
