Ahava ~ Rivertribe

My excellent friend Mike and his worship partners made this song on the last Rivertribe CD called Radiate. Ahava is Hebrew for Love and is also the name of my daughter whom I was pregnant with whilst praying for the guys as they made this CD. Her newborn baby picture is nestled inside the story line.




In Ezra 8, the remnant is returning to Jerusalem and realises they don't have any Levites for the Temple. Ezra stops them by the Ahava Canal along the Euphrates to pray and fast and send out emissaries to ask for Levites to make the journey. Every time I hear this song, I picture this scene in my spirit as well...
