  • 6:28-7:00 makes me tear up every single time.

  • Due all respect, this was a good effort - but, I don't feel satisfied with the performance, first of all - the location doesn't really suit this style of composition, but that is a hard task in the states - one can't really depend in that there are cathedrals everywhere :P

    So I will take that in mind!

    I can't really blame the strings for the way they play - if the conductor really had known the music of Pärt he should beg the strings, also the singers, to be careful with their use of vibrato :)

    If you think this piece is shit and lifeless, then you must be.

  • This is such a powerful piece of art. It's absolutely beautiful and whoever dislikes this has no taste.

  • @sweetmerch That would probably be the pipe organ.

  • this song is shit and lifeless.

  • it is sou beautiful.

    very nice.

  • Opening words of the Te Deum liturgy:

    We praise thee, O God : we acknowledge thee to be the Lord.

    All the earth doth worship thee : the Father everlasting.

    To thee all Angels cry aloud : the Heavens, and all the Powers therein.

    To thee Cherubim and Seraphim : continually do cry,

    Holy, Holy, Holy : Lord God of Sabaoth;

    Heaven and earth are full of the Majesty : of thy glory.

  • Got to work with him, amazing conductor.

  • @mundymanor PLENI SUNT CAELI ET TERRA MAIESTATIS GLORIAE TUAE!
