Yes our national debt is growing, however a lot of the debt is actually privatized to companies...
A lot of the debt is going towards contractors who rebuild the countries we attack, and towards contractors that build the bombs and the machinery to drop those bombs.

The chinese could draft a half a billion men to invade and occupy afghanistan, and the taliban would still figure out ways to kill and blow the chinese up..
It also would attract more radicals from the surrounding area
Unless a country decides to do a genocide, there is no way to beat this region, the only way to kill all the taliban would be to kill EVERYONE, essentially..
Which would ultimatlely create more terrosim against that countries populace
