Mirrors edge has stopped working

so here's my problem. I've been waiting for this game 8 months now. I finally get it and i get this error. (Ignore the crazy flashing in the load up, that's just Hypercam, on my screen its completely normal.) I've probably spent a grand total of 9 hours trying to fix this and I'm still running into this error. When all else fails, start up a Youtube video and hopefully someone who knows the answer will comment. It will be MUCH appreciated.

I had the same problem mate, but I solved it, 1) install the patch 2)paste the crack and replace,right click mirrors edge icon click properties go to compatibility tab tick the Run this program in compatibility mode for and choose windows vista service pack 2 and click apply ,thats it no more not responding error enjoy the game =)

I didn't have vista sp3 on my win7 64bit ultimate, but I had vista sp2, so I tried it and the the "notworking" stupid logo is gone! Thanks, you're prob the only one who posted the solution lol.
