@CrispyGrease He can be seen praying before gigs. Watch a few interviews. He's at a constant battle with his faith, on and off.

@hyl14nn1gh7 Um, NO. Hetfield may have been raised in a Christian science home but he is certainly atheist, or at least agnostic. So many of his lyrics attest to this fact.

@kingloopy123 It's funny, you seem to be the one to start the hate. I don't particularly listen to Christian Metal songs, but just because something is inspired by religion, that doesn't mean it's automatically bad. I know for a fact there are a lot of religious - particularly Christian - metal musicians (Dave Mustaine, James Hetfield, etc.), so there's no "stealing." People should play what they want to play, and sing about what they want to sing about.
