osa is concerned with the experimental design and transformation of space, regardless of scale and definition as well as with the subversion of stalemated perceptions. In the first place it is about the visualization of existing qualities of neglected or little esteemed spaces or objects. The "Landmark Silo" project transforms silos in Feldbach and Studenzen through performative and installation interventions and enables the onlooker via imagination to gain a new, completely different and unexpected impression of their inherent oomph and beauty.
In spite of the particular presence of silos in public spaces, as a matter of fact they do not let us see behind the curtain. Landmark Silo picks holes in apparently everyday features and brings the fantastical into the everyday.
