"It is not unusual to have irregular periods, and can take several months after nursing to ovulate regularly.
She should make an appointment to see her OB/Gyn to discuss."

I had my son this past february and nursed him up until August. I had one regular period in both sept. and October.. and am a week late for this month (of November).. Now my question is, how long does it take for your period be straighten out.. and is this normal?.. (p.s. we are not pregnant and do not plan to have a 2nd child for a few years)..So it's not due to pregnancy ;-P

@monicarenee1000 We spoke to one of our Mount Clemens Regional OB/GYN Physicians, Dr. Stephen Olson (from the video) and:
-"Yes, you can get pregnant with one ovary and regular periods." Stephen Olson, D.O.
