King Alastor (Painkiller - Battle out of Hell)

This is the final boss fight in the expansion pack for Painkiller i.e. Painkiller - Battle out of Hell. I have played it at Nightmare difficulty. And, I dedicate this video to People Can Fly (developers of the game) for being one of the most creative developers in the gaming world. Enjoy!!!!

PS: To unlock Tarot card in this level, you have to beat Alastor in no more than 4 min. I think you can achieve it if you use other cards. But, I don't give a damn about tarot cards. So, you may find this fight longer than it is necessary.

Whats your hardware? is BouH as hard on your computer as original painkillah?

My current specs are: AMD Athlon 64 3500+, 2 GB RAM, 8800 GT (512 MB), 160 GB SATA drive and so on. And, yes, BooH is a bit more hardware intensive than the first one. They have added specular and other graphical stuff in this expansion pack. But, the biggest gripe against PAIN engine is the time it takes to quick load a saved game...

He is not vulnerable to regular shooting. You have to stand in those rings and take a pounding from him. When this happens, a golem will emerge out of the rubbles and punch Alastor. This is the only time your weapons can do damage. You can see a golem on the right at 4:26.

um how do you kill the panzer spider in painkiller battle out of hell in nightmare mode? (i think its chapter 4) i can only get it down to half of its health, then from there i dont know what to do... do you have to use a certain black tarot card to kill it?

First shoot him till half of his health is gone. Now, he tries to shoot electrical beams or something at you. Blow this electrical thing when it is in his mouth. This should stun him. Quickly run to one of the cannons and fire it. Repeat this till he is dead...
