Great finds and great way to earn through a recession. I'm moving to the Yucatan to prospect and pick up left articles of jewelery on the beaches. Do you have any tips that you won't have to plug me over??

@Hijynx427 Yucatan?? sounds like a good way to get a machete in the jugular.. The locals will think you are looking for pirates booty!!!... I have thought about the prospects of doing something very simlar myself, but I was thinking more alongs the lines of Japan.. Very obliging and relaxed the Japanese.. Garret, Whites and Minelab all make excellent coin and relic detectors, buy the best you can..

@zaqqaz22 I would love to do something like this, I've been to old ghost towns in Ca. & Az with my parents & grandparents when I was a kid and I love to go metal detecting and would like to go to a few places here in Arizona but Australia would be allot better I think if I could just afford to get there. Hex
