Teach Yourself Korean is the book I'm using! I really like it because it gives you a dialogue in korean, new vocabulary words in each unit, and lots of great exercises. You learn new words and at the same time you learn sentences and expressions. It also comes with 2 cds, which lets you can hear the correct pronunciation of words and sentences.
I also have a korean friend that I ask questions every time I finish a chapter.
Learning korean has been really fun! I hope to visit Korea one day!

Hey Kerri.
I'd also like to recommend seemile.com
Jenny Lee's class is the best for learning grammar.
And there's a channel on Youtube called "sweetandtasty". She doesn't really teach the grammar, but she mainly focuses on expanding vocabulary.
The rest I learn at my Korean language school in my town.

@Theinnocentdream ~~ i've done it.. but i usually end up cozying up to whoever i'm next to in order to confirm who is doing what.. and why someone suddenly started crying. i can get the jist, but it's still hard for me to understand fully. in conversations, i can ask questions to confirm my understanding, but a movie just talks at you, and they go pretty quickly >.< thanks for your comment!
