@THANATOS112220: I said that romajis were "originally" not part of their language. And no, that R that we use does not exist in the Japanese language. Ask a native Japanese do the "rrrrawr" with long R, ask them to roll/trill the R. They can't do it because their language does not have it and so they didn't learn it. I know because I actually talked to Japanese people.

@atirasalsero I know what romaji are, but its also part of their language, you can clearly hear them making the r sound, either its anime/just a Japanese person singing, its just that they do it in a different way. You an also write them in hiragana/katakana, and have it in furigana as well to make it easier to read Kanji. They may have came out with that later, but it is part of their language.

@THANATOS112220: what you wrote there are in romaji. Romajis were created so that "gaijin"s could read Japanese texts too but originally they were not part of the Japanese language.
Probably they felt that the letter R is the closest to the actual sound they make when pronouncing ら り る れ ろ. That doesn't mean it actually sounds like an R.
Btw. I learned Japanese from a teacher whose mother tongue is Japanese and she told me that. It's not a clear R, believe me.

the real music starts when keiko starts singing <3

@atirasalsero Well, they do have ra, ri, ru, re, and ro (hiragana and katana for ex), so they do have r in their vocabulary, but not L at all. In Japan, you replace the letter L with R, for ex, my 1st name is Luis, so in Japanese it would be Ruisu.
-
@pianoprincess478: actually the Japanese language has neither an L or an R but something between the two. Ask a Japanese to purr "rrrrrrrrrrrr" like a cat for example, they can't (like some other Asians can't either).
-
@a40511a012325 Japanese language doesn't have letter "L"
-
@grrrr17 You're hung up about how they move? Did you even listen to the music or hear how beautiful it is? You're hung up on how a group is so passionate about singing that they have to move to express it?

I've said it before, Keiko is a human cello. Amazing resonance! A beautiful sound! I could listen to her all day.
