Once again soccer, you are the dumbass. We NEVER had a sizeable military presence in afghanistan before 2001. The only americans that were there during the Soviet invasian were CIA officers, who were hiding amongst the populace. The american weapons that they recieved were most likely sent through Pakistan.

The Taliban are most certainly terrorists. They sent people into our country for the sole purpose of killing innocent Americans.
Al Qaeda was also supported by the US when we gave them weapons and ammunition.
When we left Afghanistan, they used that as an excuse to attack us because they felt we were "deserting" them. That is a fact.

The Taliban are not terrorists. We put them in power, and then removed them from power. This is historical fact.
Al Qaeda, when they fought the Soviets in Afganistan, were funded by their own organization. This is also historical fact.
Al Qaeda has always been plotting to attack us, and leaving Afghanistan had nothign to do with it.
