Appreciate your candor and realism. IMO the best and most instinctual thing to do is to get control of the attacking arm and put him to the floor ASAP. Follow with disarming/breaking elbow/wrist etc.

Good stuff. I have a knife defense video that's a lot like that. Not the ice pick grip, and having a sewing machine type stab as well, same concept. Great job!
