Episode 1 is about what you need to start the practice and the three mind control tools that you will use in the practice.

  • This has been a very articulate video on the rudiments of Ashtanga. I look forward to viewing the remainder of your videos. Namaste

  • Thank you. I haven't filmed new episodes in a while, but I will surely start filming them again. I have renovated the room for yoga, so I will start with filming soon.

  • Is the intro for this video, annoyingly long? It is, isn't it?

  • Forgot to tell you that, if you have any questions concerning these things that was in the video, please leave a text comment or a video reply. I will answer all the questions.

  • @ks9505 Hi there. Do you practice ashtanga yoga? Yes it is true that you are supposed to use the diaphragm when you do this breathing, but you are not supposed to breath with your stomach. There are different techniques for different purposes. When we practice ashtanga yoga, we are using the root and the abdominal locks, meaning that we do not breath so that the stomach comes out. The diaphragm is automatically active when you use the "Ujjayi" breathing technique, with the sound. Namaste.

  • Thank you.

  • 36 seconds.

15-30 is the norm. I saw one on someone else's site that was 48 seconds.

    Your videos are very informative.
