Why would you set a variable to nul, then have the user set it as something else? This isn't C++, you don't need to create global variables and all of that, they are created the same line they are defined.
@gmancool7 Well, you are clearly far from good at batch coding. When you make 2 videos showing the "basics," and stop making more, you're obviously hiding the fact that the basics are all you know.
@iCraft4U First of all, batch files are nothing but basics. They're one of the most simple programming languages out there. In fact, the next higher up programming language is literally called BASIC. Second, I'm a computer engineer. I spend half my day programming, so I'm pretty sure I know something about good code.
