1.0 Automatic AFK Cobblestone Harvester (Optimised)

I don't normally go back and continue to work on BRF projects, but this one kept me interested and I decided to optimise it from the existing 7 cobble an hour to over 4 stacks of cobble an hour. It's possible to build this in regular survival and it's pretty awesome. Also it's, I believe, the first one in Minecraft 1.0 Let me know if there are others :)

Yeah I have a tutorial for redpower on this channel. It's an awesome mod, but the main purpose of this whole contraption was to be able to make it in vanilla minecraft.

I dunno dude, thats an awful lot of obsidian. You definitely cannot obtain that much obsidian unless you use the Force Quit glitch

This is what I will do get a ton of iron pick axes in you're inv and get inv tweaks make a cobble stone generator put something on the left mouse button while looking at the cobblestone inv tweaks will give you you're next puck axe if it breaks and if you have one in you're inventory done... Much faster as well

Challenge: Make it work without player presence (maybe using wolves or snow golems?) so you can have a couple in a world running at once.

Brilliant! although I doubt by the time you had enough resources to build this in survival you would ever need more cobble, it's still an interesting build and I'll probably try to hook one up to my mob spawner

I just make it so I can mine my cobble from my generator from below. The switch my left shift to breaking blocks and turn on sticky keys.
