Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee: "Let Us Wake Up America!"

The "Appeal for Redress" held a press conference, on Oct. 17, 2007, on Capitol Hill, in the Rayburn Building. The group of 2,050 active duty military members is calling on the U.S. Congress "to end the occupation of Iraq." It is also warning the Bush-Cheney Gang from "repeating the same mistake in Iran." She didn't realize that they landed on two different celestial bodies. Please vote for John Faulk this November, and dismiss Queen Sheila.

Well, it appears our African-American friends have found yet something else to be pissed about. A black congresswoman (this would be Sheila Jackson Lee, of Houston), reportedly complained that the names of hurricanes are all Caucasian sounding names.She would prefer some names that reflect African-American culture such as Chamiqua, Tanisha, Woeisha, Shaqueal, and Jamal. I am NOT making this up!
