The DART Rail is a fast, fun and budget-friendly way to visit entertaining places in Dallas and the surrounding neighborhoods. In this You+Dallas exclusive video, host Hilary Kennedy starts downtown and takes us on a tour of Dallas.

For visitors, more than twenty hotels such as Aloft, Hyatt Regency, and the Sheraton Dallas are close to one of the four downtown DART platforms. Nearby is the historic West End, featuring Dick's Last Resort and large number of restaurants.

Head south on DART to the Cedars Station and you will find the artsy South Side on Lamar. Stop for coffee at the Opening Bell, visit artists Sam Fuller and Rolando Diaz, and fashion designer Abi Ferrin. Continue cruising the Red Line all the way to the Dallas Zoo.

Or, head north! DART's Blue Line and Red Line stop at Mockingbird Station where you can shop, eat, and see movies at Angelika Theater. Right across Central Expressway is the SMU campus. Further down Mockingbird is Highland Park Village.

After Mockingbird Station, the Red Line takes you to The Shops at Park Lane as well as famed NorthPark Center and then on to downtown Plano.

The scenic Blue Line will take you to White Rock Lake and the Dallas Arboretum.

From downtown Dallas, take the newly expanded Green Line to exciting venues such as Victory Park and House of Blues. Victory Park is home of the American Airlines Center. Keep going, and you arrive in Deep Elllum and eventually, Fair Park. Come discover Dallas on the DART Rail.
