Previously we asked if the viewers of Gunpla would like to see one of Bandai's One Piece kits, the Thousand Sunny! And, as expected, the response was heavily on the 'Yes' side. Of course, it was. It's Plamo we're talking about here, and Bandai Plamo at that. This is the first of two episodes giving a look into what goes on when assembling this kind of kit. If you've assembled this kit yourself, let us know what you thought about it.

  • Haha, trimming down those pegs would be really difficult! Those things look HUGE!

Also, as a quick question, how does this plastic compare to their Gundam model kits' plastic? Is it weaker, stronger, or about the same plastic, just on a much larger scale?

  • @MsAwesomecakes Its quite strong actually.

  • Not exactly what I'd build, but nice to get a change of pace from seeing robots every week. It would be nice if you guys did a Kamen Rider figure on Gunpla TV.

  • @gunplanut We did Kamen rider on boss builds.

  • at first its look easy after a short while its really really hard!

  • i want to make it RC.. but i don't know how..=)

  • Hey, just so you know: I ordered some kits from hobbylink and I live in New Brunswick, Canada (east coast). I used the slowest shipping possible and it took exactly 3 weeks to arrive in my mailbox! I thought that was pretty fast shipping! I guess Japan's mail is in good working order.

  • can build keropla

  • Thumbs up if you prefer painting uncolored parts over applying stickers!
