I am really glad they stopped performing in 66. It makes sense what Paul says: They can't hear themselves, the crowd can't hear them cause they never stopped screaming all the fucking time, so how in God's earth are they supposed to get better if they continue to play with broken ears?

They were recording Strawberry Fields/Penny Lane and early work for Sgt Pepper at exactly this time..

@jimcarreyonline yes in the years of 1963-1966 that was there time when the "Girls" would go crazy. a year after this interview they would go on to create the most influential album!
