  • Have you had any problems since the install?

  • @EpikKustumz I did 20,000 miles over 2 years with the cherry bomb on before I sold the car and didnt have a single problem. Not one.

  • @kyosho94 why go to all that hassle when you can buy a cherry bomb muffler.

  • @TelevisedChaos Why not?

  • What type of tip is that?

  • Volvo 240s are a lot faster than you'd think they'd be. Those 16v 4 cylinders will scream, and you've got to love the rear wheel drive.

  • @JetlinerXPilotXFSX You need to measure the external circumference of your pipe so you know which size cherry bomb you need (the outlet). I dont know what a S60 exhaust looks like but mine came over the axle, 90 degree then into a huge muffler across the back of the car and out the left side of the car. I hacked it right off and threw away the other muffler away then re-routed it out the right side of the car.

just have a look and see what room you have to play with.

  • @letpigsfly what part am I measuring? The opening at the back? Also, it looks like my exhaust system curves around from the right side of the car, curves around to the left where the actual exhaust exit is. Is that going to be a problem? Because yours looks pretty straight all the way back.

  • @JetlinerXPilotXFSX Cherry bombs are a universal muffler to fit any car. Have a look on the Cherry bomb website or with your local cherry bomb specialist. Youll need to measure the size of your exhaust pipe so get an external measurement with a tape measure (itll be either 2 1/4 inch or 2.5 inch).

  • @letpigsfly I really want to do this, do you know what muffler I would need for a 2002 Volvo S60? Is it just the muffler I would need?

  • @JetlinerXPilotXFSX I was a complete beginner when I did this mod 3 years ago. I basically cut the original pipe with a hacksaw just after the rear axles, slid a cherry bomb with a 2 1/4 inch hole over the existing pipe. clamped that with an exhaust clamp. Then bent a big 6 inch long bolt into an S shape, used a jubilee clip to hold one end to the cherry bomb and the other I hooked into the exhaust mount. Cost? One cherry bomb and a riad in the garage for parts.
