A lot of people hate on the ending of the song, but I have to say I think it's the perfect ending. The middle gives peace, and alludes to fantasy. The ending reminds you that it is in fact fantasy, and we live in a cold, dark place.

I honestly love this picture with this song... there are so many stories and moments that this song could describe - many love-related - but it also really suits the picture. It seems here to illustrate the memories, imagination, and romantic thought of one man left alone on the planet. Disaster happened and life as we know it was wiped out... yet he remains and somehow finds peace in his mind.
