During this game, the refs, who have a difficult job, gave two calls to the opponent of the Red Bay Lady Tigers. In this video, you can see a great home run hit by Monique Dulaney; however, you will also notice that the umpire was more interested in his shoes at this particular moment than he was in what was going on during the game. You be the judge, but I believe the runner, Monique, was safe. The catcher, who did a great job during the entire game, was two feet above Monique as Monique slid into home, safe. The umpire turned and made a call based on his shoelaces. Horrible call. But, the lady tigers prevailed despite the umpires. Other than this and one other blind call, the umps did a good job.
never reached the bag, out. the ump however was out of position

The ump could have had better positioning, but he got it right...Catcher blocked plate, and dropped the tag...

If your the same person in the video telling the umpire to get out of the way? Your the idiot. And do you really think the umpires made a conscious decision to "give" calls to the other team? To purposely cheat? And hes not looking at his shoes, hes moving into position, and lowering his head to take off his mask. That was an easy call, runner is out. Plate is blocked. Based on his shoelaces? Gee, we are not biased now are we?? Its parents like you who make it hard for officials of youth games..
