@shelton705 @shelton705 - perhaps you should check YOUR facts. Jason Matthews did not write this song alone. Trace co-wrote it with him and another guy. If you don't believe me, read Trace's book!

Trace didn't write this song. It was written by Jason Matthews. I swear, YouTube is a breeding ground for disinformation because people don't check their facts.

He's always written songs. He co-wrote at least two of the songs on his newest album - Semper Fi and Days Like These, but if you look back at his discography he's been writting since the beginning..

Julie had more soul, and made it seem she actually was going through the pain. Trace is a great singer, but the way he sings this song, it just makes it sound like he did a cover. If that makes sense to anyone lol.
