dude, some sounds might be hurtful to dogs. they have a diff hearing freq range than humans.
careful next time. he might be howling cuz the sound makes him uncomfortable!

In Singapore, most of the houses are really close together. As a way to help keep the densly packed city clean, garung gunis go from house to house with their little honking carts picking up trash to be recycled. Garung gunis actualy make a rather substantial ammount of money.
