Obviously a dangerous road! As I saw, you reached the Racetrack Playa after all, Unfortunatelly we didn't. We returned very, very slowly after replacing the wheel with a temporary one. Two days after, a similar story on the road to Toroweep point (Grand Canyon,AZ): first a flat tire, then stuck in sand.
By the way, it was a Dodge Nitro

wow. the same thing happend to me on the exact same tire, but about a month earlier. is that a nissan nitro?
