Once again we have finished a new technological school project.
This time it's about water, and we decided to make a PIC-based water alarm, with the smart functionality of sending the owner an SMS if water is detected.
The PIC microprocessor is a PIC16F690, and the GSM module is a SIM300, controlled using regular AT-commands and the UART port on the PIC.

  • @1991NEO How much of the project have you got working? Are the heart rate monitor working? How is it connected to the PIC or the MCU you are using? Regarding the choice of GSM module, have you decided any? In the decision please have the connection method and protocolin mind (RS232, TTL Serial, AT-Commands)

    Yes, it's programmed in mikroC - the free version :)
