I think there were crickets. Or frogs. Whatever they were, I never saw them, and it was deafening.

  • The sound is peeper frogs. You can find their photo online. They are very tiny and sing all throughout spring . There are hundreds of thousands of them.

  • Peeper Frogs; mystery solved.

    Thanks! :)

  • In 1897 a scientist found out that Crickets can tell you the temperature in what ever place you are at. Count the number of chirpings, for 14 seconds then add 38 to it, you get Fahrenheit temperature in that place. Then I checked the name "Cricket" in Arabic language it is "Jod Jod" but the way it is written in Arabic is "Jd Jd" The Arabic gematrical value of Letter "J = 3" and "D = 4", so jdjd=3+4+3+4=14 This is GOD's design, GOD be glorified!
