Do any of you realize heath insurance companies get between patients and doctors now? I've had several common prescriptions denied. If Gohmert believed in letting the patients truly decide, he would have supported the public option and let patients choose between government and business.

You don't see the government say "Go Die", you see the government saying "I'm sorry, due to the overflow of ill and injured, we cannot handle your service at the present time." When the government runs all healthcare service, be prepared to get turned away most of the time.

At least 22000 people die in the united states every year from not having health insurance. The UK has had socialized medicine since WW2, so I'm not sure of what statistic you're referring too.

I'm sick of hearing about this 'Death Panels' nonsense. You are much more likely to be denied health care by private insurers than the government. Health insurance for seniors is already government run (Medicare), and you don't see the government telling people to "Go Die".
