So the singer doesn't sound like Phil Collins so it's beyond his ability? He sounded great here, and Dan's solo is way more complicated than the original one. I think we can both agree that this one pwns the shitty cover that In Flames did.

Bull shit dude. If a metal band makes it big the it doesn't automatically mean they sold out and are MTV's puppets. They write their own music, nobody condenses it or holds them down with Disturbed's consent. If they were metal condensed then they wouldn't swear, come up with kick ass guitar solos, strong and deep lyrics, solid drum parts etc. they aren't condensed and they're on a hiatus partly because they think the music industry SUCKS!!! They're metal, end of story.

I like the bridge better in Disturbed's version mainly because it doesn't lose as much of it's built up energy. Other than that i must say Genesis.

Disturbed's version is so much better than Genesis, and better than the In Flames version even more than that. And the reason he doesn't sing so well now is he got a serious throat infection and had to retrain his vocal chords, thus resulting in the raspier voice he has now.
