In Parts 1 and 2, we analyzed the historical situation of the Republic of China on Taiwan, concluding that it was (1) a subordinate occupying power, beginning Oct. 25, 1945, and (2) a government in exile, beginning mid-December 1949.

In Parts 3A and 3B of this series, we examine all relevant parameters in order to make a true determination of the legal status of Taiwan territory. Based on the data presented, we are forced to conclude that Taiwan is still under military occupation in the current era. The principal occupying power is the USA.

What this means is that Taiwan is not Chinese territory, and native Taiwanese people are not correctly classified as Republic of China citizens.
