Inspired by TomNUFC's Alternate Histories (only that my recordings are shittier).
In 1849, the King of Sardinia starts a campaign of wars on its neighbor Italian countries. After some were conquered, he proclaims himself Emperor of Greater Italy and Rome, uniting the Italian peoples and soon many other European and North African states under the insignias of the Ancient Romans. As there was already a lot of Italian patriotism, Fascism was prevented; Yet, the rapid expansionism led to big area losses of the Empire after the end of the 20-year World War in 1934, and the collapse of the whole Realm in 1954, when Communist revolutionaries overthrew the totalitarian monarchy and founded the Federation of Italian Democratic Republics (FRDI).

The anthem is the old anthem of the Kingdom of Sardinia, the national emblem is a Roman laurel wreath and eagle holding lightning bolds in front of the cross of burgundy, the imperial crown is levitating over the eagle's head. The flag is the coat of arms within "SPQR" in golden letters spelled out in the middle white stripe of the horizontal, Italian tricolour.

  • the news about history of Italy are not correct! the Kingdom of Italy was born in 1861 and the title of Emperor of Italian Empire came after the conquest of Abyssinia in1936. The first and the only one of our Empire was Victor Emanuel III. After the WW II Left parties decided to make a coup and in the 1945 we went to vote in the referendum between monarchy and republic. He won the republic but with election fraud.

God Save the Emperor of Italy and his Empire

Tripoli and Addis Ababa are Italian

  • @cossuelo Well, I knew that. This is an alternate timeline.

  • I wonder where people always get this same flag animation.. I'd like to find it.

  • @cossuelo Super,wonderful.

  • Stay away from Sardinia

  • Rspect to the DUX

  • @Gheorgyi II -After WW-II, lost by Italy mainly fault of that "mezza porzione" (who, as "head of state" should have refused to sign for it), there was no "coup" by leftist parties only, also many Italians who were not "lefties" were sick and tired of that buffonesque monarchy and dinasty that had allowed the country to be dragged into that insane war; the referendum was in 1946, NOT 1945, and "you" couldn't possibly have voted in it, you weren't even at spermatoplast stage at that time.

  • @cossuelo I Typical of the usual ignorant youngster who hasn't lived through those events and has not even studied them, OK kidd-o, here's the way it actually ran: there NEVER was an "Italian Empire", there was a kingdom of Italy whose king, VE III, delected in making himself called "emperor of Ethiopia" because it soothed his little ego to be called "emperor" and to hoist on his headgear that white upright plume that made him look taller than his 1,55 m. (5'1") - quella mezza porzione.
