CNN and other media have began to report about the booming hair industry in a time where it seems most businesses are on the decline - hair salons are on the rise. The Census Bureau recently outlined their jump in an otherwise glum report about mom-and-pop businesses, stating that the number of hairdressers and barbers and the shops that employ them actually increased.

An industry that's thriving even during these tough economic times is the hair industry. It may be the closest thing to recession-proof.

According to Census data, barbershops in Maryland rose nearly 11% between 2007 -- when the recession hit -- and 2009, while the number of beauty salons in the state jumped more than 17%. Nationwide, there were 18.6% more barber shops and 14.4% more beauty salons in 2009 than in 2007.

News Correspondent and Owner of Rejuve3 Hair and Scalp Care, Axel Cooley, was invited as a guest speaker on the "Wall Street and Politics" Show to discuss the all natural Rejuve3 hair care line that has been long trusted by dermatologist for over 40 years.

The all natural hair care line has been assisting to restore the scalp's health and optimizing the look of hair - regardless of hair type - as it targets the scalp.
