  • If you can't find a job with WFP you can sign up for a job with a similar party that has been around a long time. It's called the nazi party. It's not as powerful as it used to be, but it's still around and stands for pretty much the same values as WFP

Either way you can help stick it to the evil "non-working families" party!

  • @portlanddem Oh yes, I know how the whole TEMP/CONTRACTUAL WORKER concept goes. From my personal experience, when I work through temp agencies, employers can definitely pay you LESS, work you MORE, don't have to give you benefits, health care coverage or anything. As a matter of fact, Google this: "The Employee Misclassification Prevention Act" I believe my last 2 employers I worked for did this to me.

  • @portlanddem I applied for the Working Class Party sometime last year, so maybe I should put in another, updated application again. I'm registered as an Independent; all I know is that America will continue to be the same old stale "Two-Party System", unless something else, some other political party or system comes along and challenge the "Republicrats"

  • @thesiouxgoddess Yes, and turning the workweeks into 4 10 hr shifts ( unless it is a business that is 24-7 ), forcing ALL OF THE TEMP STAFFING SERVICES to either pay a higher wage ( did you know that if you do temp work, whatever your pay rate is, they are making 1.5X more per every hour you're working, then you are--this just saves corporations and large businesses even MORE $ in their pockets!! ) or having the corporation hire the employee at 6 mo or 1 yr maximum or pay a 26 week severance!!

  • @thesiouxgoddess have you been able to find a spot with the WFP or anything similar to it?

  • @freeconservative WTF are you talking about???!

SOCIAL JUSTICE programs had NOTHING to do w/ our current mess!! You mean to say that outsourcing MILLIONS of jobs over the last 10 yrs, CEO's paying themselves BILLIONS IN BONUSES, CORPORATIONS w/o a brain giving BAD loans to people they knew DAMN WELL WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO PAY IT BACK, the BILLIONS we PISSED AWAY IN IRAQ & AFGHANISTAN, & MEDICAL BILLS FORCING BANKRUPTCIES doesn't have a thing to do w/ our economy?!?!?! Gimme a fucking break!!!

  • @thesiouxgoddess I agree, but you got to remember where we're living. Regardless of which state you live in, corporations have USA by the balls so to speak. Think about it--the banks/mortgage and insurance industry started the spiral of the current mess. This didn't help when Reagan signed that bill in 1981 that allowed the USA to be run like a corporation, by corporations. Since then, the working middle class have been squeezed harder & harder, forcing many of them into working poor or welfare.

  • or just get a REAL job -- OH WAIT! THERE ARE NO REAL JOBS BECAUSE OF SOCIAL JUSTICE PROGRAMS THAT UNDERMINED THAT FORCED BANKS TO MAKE BAD LOANS IN THE NAME OF SOCIAL JUSTICE, AND CAUSED THE SUB--PRIME TREND THAT CAUSED THE ENTIRE WORLD ECONOMY TO CRASH -- entire cities and nations went BROKE investing in a faulty American market, BECAUSE OF CORRUPT SOCIAL JUSTICE SCEMES! Your paychecks are taxpayer-funded!!! blame wall-street -- that's priceless.

HOW IS YOUR BAILOUT WORKING FOR YOU?

  • But during the severe recession, it gives working class families the opportunity of how they would like the economy to be in their favor when things do get back on track again (whenever that may happen). In other words, fighting for a more LIVABLE wage; reinforcing the 8-hour-day/40-hour-week, if possible; more universal health care; give the WORKING CLASS back our human and civil rights. We are not just "commodities"; we're human beings too.

  • Why is President Obama and his administration worrying about bailing out Wall Street, meanwhile they should definitely be concerned with "Main Street" America. I come from a working class background and I can only imagine what other fellow working-class Americans are going through (high unemployment, under-employment, unstable temporary work, fear of going homeless, etc.) I LOVE MY WORKING CLASS PEOPLE, I don't give a damn about the aristocrats or "upper-crust" types...
