@lindo745 I don't know who he is. It is very interesting for someone like you who isn't involved in anyway to the RV10 in this video or GD but argued so vociferously on the efficacy of the GD system. So have a nice life.

@2Phast4Rocket One last thing are you related to Paul Lamer? You sure talk like him. He saw pretty stupid as well.

@2Phast4Rocket @2Phast4Rocket Why wish me luck? Are you to ignorant as to how You Tube to not no the difference between channels? Your you are woefully ignorant of aircraft and aircraft systems. I told you to contact GD you moron and educate yourself. There are many aircraft flying with this system including RVs. I even think their factory demonstrator is an RV but I could be wrong. It IS a 2 seat side by side light aircraft in teh same class as the RV.

I wish you luck. I hate to see a homebuilder spending that much time and money building and get problems in the air. I do not wish that on anyone. As I said, I don't see any RV10 video with GD system with cowling closed up and flying at max airspeed. That is the proof. Any GD brochure information is only that. Just advertisement. Not PROOF.

@2Phast4Rocket And another thing. No cowling is sealed so air can't flow though it and especially cowlings on aircraft with liquid cooled engines. The cowling of the RV has inflow in front and outflow at the bottom under the aircraft (as do all piston aircraft) allowing for more than enough cooling. Where thew hell did you get the idea that the cowling is sealed up??? The radiator is NOT up against the firewall there's plenty of room for air to pass though it. .

@2Phast4Rocket Instead of pretending you know what you are talking about way not contact Geared Drives and educate yourself. You are wrong on all counts. Just because the videos you see are with the cowling off are the only ones you've seen doesn't mean they are the only GD installations out there. There are quite a few RVs as well as other aircraft flying with this installation with no heat problems. Stop just making it up as you go along
Cooled by air and water, the radiator is located parallel with the firewall behind the engine.
