New Woodland Davis Control Line Field

On April 16, 2011, at 11:00 AM, a group of us met to layout the new Woodland Davis Control Line site. We marked out how the field is to be layed out, and what we would like to have for fixtures. At present there is standing water, between the parking lot and the circles. It will need to dry out a bit so we can mow and prepare the centers.
The field is located 1.5 miles east of County Rd. 102 on County Rd. 29. County Rd. 29 east of Rd. 102, is a gravel road and runs east and west on the south bank of Willow Slough Bypass. Please keep your speed below 40 MPH on the gravel portion of Rd. 29. For those that are coming from the Bay Area, take Hwy 113 north to Rd. 29, then east to Rd. 102. Turn left on Rd. 102, go 100 Yrds, then right on to Rd. 29.

Doug Barton was able to cut a practice circle in which we were able to put in the first flight on the new circle.
