Beach Tennis incorporates the best of beach volleyball and tennis into one sport that includes tennis rackets, the beach, sand, great atheletes, tennis pros and beginners of all levels. It is the sport of the future here today because you can practice it anywhere. Since the ball does not bounce, you can practice against any wall or with a friend in any setting. The tennis balls are half the regular pressure so they don't go as far. Because the balls don't hit a hard suface, they last much longer than regular tennis balls. Also, you don't need tennis shoes, special equipment and can wear whatever you want. Beaches and parks are free so you can enjoy the sport with your friends.

  • the cool thing about beach tennis is you can use any type of racket and ball you have, from tennis, racketball, paddleball, etc. Just find a sand volleyball court or play the sport anywhere. All you need is a net and open space. since you hit the ball in the air, you can practice anywhere.

  • Yes, a regular tennis racket (high tension stringing is recommend) is used. Any sandy areas near where you live, such as a lakeshore?
