  • My grandma was on the very first Rockford Peaches team when Women's Baseball originally started...she says it was annoying to play in those outfits because there was no real protection for when you slid into the plate, and a lot of the time you'd get bruises or "rug burns" from the sand.

  • I love what jimmy says to miss cuspert! YOU GORGEOUS STACK OF PANCAKES YOU!

No, not really since sarcasm exists in several countries. And I´m not a dude. But maybe that label was intended as sarcasm too.

  • @Lusebusen Thanks for clearing that up dude. I do know Canada is in America, North America to be exact. The question was actually kinda a little sarcastic - based on that can you guess where I'm from?

  • @chuggieforever

It has nothing to do with background, it has to do with lifestyle and spirit. And certainly like Popfan 93 says; dreams and ideals! You can, like me, be irish, canadian (Canada is located in America, by the way....) or swedish and still, thanks to friends and relatives in America, be in som ways "all american".

  • I love this film :) It's been my favourite film for as long as I can remember, my mum and I always cry at the end!

  • @GlassTears8 I was reading about Dorothy Kamenshek, the big rug burns were also referred to as "Strawberries" the girls on these teams played no matter what, even with severe injury...Now a days???

  • I wouldn't mind managing a girls baseball team. The chances of getting lucky are increased by 20 X.
