the way you write the sentence give the ideia that you and erica mate ( do something together ,idk), but you were answering to a0001521

You can say "my mate" if you want to, but the "my" isn't allways necessary.
Ex 1: "You are my mate"
Ex 2: "Yes we do, mate"
