If you hear clicking noises or rattles in your headset when you brake, hit bumps, or steer, you may need to tighten your bike's headset. It only takes a minute or two, and will get rid of the annoying clicks.

  • they forgot one step - you need to push down then move with the handlebars from side to side (left to right) like your installing a screw until there's no play - then twist the hex bolt from the top...i had to figure this out myself...

  • @camgoalie Any bike will loosen up a bit, especially at first, as all the cables stretch and all the components settle in to their final locations.
